Hunter Executive are a leading, Australian recruitment company specialising in executive search, board appointments and white-collar placements for engineering, manufacturing, mining and resources, environment and water, geosciences, building services, government and not-for-profit.


We are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded, specialist, multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking to recruit a Principal Hydrogeologist to join their already established and successful water team.


The role:

***Perhaps you are a senior Hydrogeologist who has reached the ceiling for career progression with your current employer, or you may be an established and successful principal / team leader who is looking for a new challenge.


Either way, there are plenty of opportunities, challenges, and rewards to be gained by joining this high performing team of Hydrogeologist, Hydrologists, Engineers and Geologists who love working on niche, technically challenging projects both in Australia and overseas.


The requirements:

***- A Relevant Tertiary Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or similar

  • Post graduate qualifications such as MSc in Hydrogeology would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Around 15 + years relevant experience for the role
  • Significant experience working on water projects in the Australian mining industry
  • Experience within the groundwater, consulting, and mining industries in Australia
  • Client management and business development skills (highly regarded)
  • Good communication, report writing and project management skills
  • Experienced in managing and mentoring junior Hydrogeologists
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of friendly, technical professionals.
