About the role
Daikin is currently recruiting a 1st year Apprentice Service Technician to join our Service Team in Warwick Farm, NSW.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who is passionate about a career in the HVAC trade. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn a specialised trade with one of the industry's leading brands.

You will work alongside experienced Daikin Technicians during your apprenticeship and be exposed to the day-to-day operations of the HVAC trade.


As an apprentice, you will:

  • Learn to install, repair and service Daikin HVAC systems.
  • Assist Service Technicians with daily maintenance work.
  • Attend TAFE to successfully complete Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
A general apprenticeship will take 4 years to complete.

A career opportunity to join Daikin as a permanent Service Technician may be offered at the end of your apprenticeship.


Skills and experience
Daikin is looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:

  • Completion of year 12 in high school.
  • Competency with general mathematics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driving license and vehicle.
  • Ability to time manage.
  • A commitment and desire to the completion of apprenticeship.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • Well presented and tidy.
  • Completion of a preapprenticeship in related field will be favorable.
Part of your apprenticeship may require you to travel outside of the metro area on occasion.

Apprentices will be provided with uniform and tool allowance. Your studies and any product training will be supported by Daikin.
