This opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Payment Analyst to join our Payments Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining payment integrity across all relevant systems and for the accurate and timely processing of TPG Telecom customer payments.

The Payment Analyst will establish, support and maintain the day-to-day processes and procedures of payments, and support changes to business processes and improvement initiatives that impact payments and the payment journey.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the day to day payment schedule and operational aspects of the payment systems are completed within agreed SLA's and timelines
  • Ensure integrity of the payment process by completing quality assurance checks and reconciliation across all relevant payment systems end to end
  • Identify areas where payment integrity has been compromised and coordinate actions to rectify the problems in a timely manner
  • Produce daily/weekly/monthly reporting and analysis as required
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third party partners including managed service operators
  • Engage and communicate with key business areas including customer service, sales, marketing, technology and finance
  • Develop, maintain and document payment/banking processes and procedures
  • Investigate and respond to payment/banking enquires and disputes within agreed SLAs
  • Participate and support changes within the payment/banking environment as a result of new projects, releases and fixes as directed by your manager. For example user acceptance testing
  • Comply to audit and regulatory standards set by TPG Telecom and industry such as TCP compliance and PCI Compliance

Knowledge and experience

  • Previous experience working in a customer service and payment/banking environments
  • Good understanding of payments and payment journey including payment methods, payment gateway, banking, acquirer and payment fraud
  • Billing experience is highly desirable
  • Proven analysis and interpretation of high volume data
  • Ability to participate in afterhours roster for payment escalations where required
  • Undertake project work as directed by manager from concept to implementation, where required
  • A strong team player
  • Self starter, adaptable and highly motivated
  • A logical and methodical approach must be demonstrated along with strong administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Oral and written communication skills of a high standard
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated use of initiative, planning, innovative decision making and problem solving skills
