About the role

This is an exciting Brand Manager opportunity for this leading Australian FMCG company with a host of household brand names under their portfolio whic include personal care, skincare and OTC brands in the health and wellness space.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a fully integrated Brand Manager position where will manage end to end new product development from ideation, packaging, price and promotion across all channels TV, outdoor, radio, social, digital and events.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the entire end to end marketing and brand strategy working closely with the category team. You will work across the full marketing mix including TV, Radio, Outdoor, Digital and Social channels
  • Own and manage the end to end NPD process (New Product Development). You will get the opportunity to launch 10 new subbrands, working across Packaging, Pricing and Promotion initiatives
  • Build nurturing and long lasting relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally such as broader marketing team, NPD, major retail and grocery chains, pharmacy and beauty care specialists and agencies too
  • Drive business growth and brand equity. This will include a test and learn approach to marketing; knowing what works and what doesn't

What you need to be successful
-
A caring and positive attitude/mindset balancing a nurturing and collaborative approach to hitting key business and brand objectives:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business or similar
  • A proven track record as either a highly successful Assistant Brand Manager or a Brand Manager striving for an exciting new challenge

A background in FMCG/Pharma/OTC/Retail/B2C Product or agency is desirable as long as you have the right attitude and you are skilled in building a brand strategy and using insights/data to manage NPD.

  • An adaptable and flexible nature and ability to influence key stakeholders to enjoy positive business outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills are an absolute must in this fun and fast paced role
