The wider Credit Risk and CommAssets team performs a critical role for our customers and the Group - providing data driven credit policies, business rules, limit assignment, servicing and verification strategies used in thousands of lending decisions every day.

Our team uses data analytics to assess existing and new methods to optimise the customer experience.

Our teams have adopted hybrid working, where we complement coming into the workplace with working remotely. When the balance is right, we leverage the best of independent, focused time with in-person collaboration and connection.


On a day-to-day basis you will

  • Review and enhance existing tools, calculators, and data assets across Consumer Finance by performing deep dives and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Support the team on a variety of new proof of concepts with external suppliers.
  • Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, and seek to find ways to standardise, simplify and automate business processes.
  • Support development of a comprehensive and proactive view of credit risk taking into account current and changing macroeconomic/regulatory environment
  • Work collaboratively with product stakeholders, decision science and modelling teams to help drive efficient decision making.
**We're interested in hearing from people who: - Preferred background in Credit Risk, Analytics, or Data Science with a Financial Services organisation;

  • Great communicators who can explain their recommendations to management and stakeholders
  • Experience with data exploration & analysis tools e.g., SQL, R, Teradata or Python.
  • Experience in using data and analytics to drive business results.
  • Sound analytical, numerate, and logical reasoning skills.
  • Have graduated university with a study major in any of the following fields
    :Finance, Statistics ,
    Data Analysis, Data Science or Engineering, Computer **Science, Quantitative techniques/Finance, Actuarial Sciences or Mathematics.
