The Role:


This position is responsible for the processing of the Payroll on a weekly basis and completing end of month and end of financial year processes.


Duties include and not limited to:

General
Assisting with the handling of payroll queries in a timely manner.
Update and maintain payroll system with changes to employee information
Assist with preparing forecasts, budgets and/or financial reports
Ensure compliance with all relevant Legislation and Awards.
Determine earnings and deductions dependent upon shift differentials, overtime and other factors.
Processing increases and calculation of back pay.
Calculation of leave provisions and accruals.
Calculation and processing of termination payments.
Maintain reporting for leave, illness, overtime etc.


Weekly
Process Payroll for employees throughout the Group of companies
Handle Payroll queries in a timely manner.
Answering / correcting any payroll discrepancies.
Run EFT and ATO reports for banking.


Annually
Print reports for End of Year Payroll.
Backup system for all Companies.
Prepare reconciliations for the Finance Department.
Complete Single Touch Payroll (STP) process for ATO and employee's MyGov accounts.
