    About the role
  • We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate, vibrant and engaged team who will be responsible for:
  • Transcribing dictation of Histopathology reports, Cytology reports and letters for our pathologists and lab staff
  • Providing excellent customer and administrative service for our key stakeholders and colleagues
  • Secretarial duties for a vibrant team of pathologists, including:
  • Handling inbound and outbound:
  • Calls to general practitioners, specialists, surgeons and medical staff, as well as to colleagues within the company
  • Faxing of documents, including reports and requests
  • Department related mail
  • Printing, copying and scanning documents and files
  • Filing
  • Retrieving slides
  • Ordering supplies for the office
  • Other office duties and pathologist requests as required

About you

  • To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the essential requirements:
  • Have a typing speed of greater than 70WPM
  • Have excellent touchtyping skills
  • Have a meticulous attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and fantastic literacy (British/Australian English)
  • Be professional and possess an excellent phone manner
  • Have good time management skills, being able to multitask and prioritise tasks as required
  • Have a high level of organisational skills
  • Be able to work both independently and within a team
