About the role

Are you ready to take on a leadership role in ensuring the smooth operations of a dynamic leisure facility? We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Facility Duty Officer to join our team at the Riverton and Cannington Leisureplexes and oversee the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities.

_ In this role, you will undertake duties such as:_

Supervision of rostered Leisureplex Staff while on shift
Facilities maintenance ensuring a safe, clean and healthy aquatics facility
Lead by example in Health, Safety and Wellbeing matters
Providing a great customer experience to patrons
Consistent monitoring of facility operating systems

Skills & Experience

Experience as a team leader or supervising others in an aquatics or recreation centre environment
Maintain current Pool Lifeguard, Group 1 Pool Operators, Provide First Aid Certificates.
LIWA Accreditation and SCBA Certificate highly regarded
Comprehensive knowledge of pool plant operations
Demonstrated ability to problem solve including handling emergency situations
Exceptional communication skills across a diverse range of stakeholders
Ability to work early starts, evenings and weekends
