About our Endoscopy Suites at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton

The MMC Endoscopy Suites aim to provide safe, high quality and timely care to our community. Our multi-disciplinary team work with humility, respect and kindness. We consistently strive to provide experiences that exceed expectation.

The suites consists of 3 procedure rooms and provide a wide variety of elective interventional and emergency procedures, including Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy Procedures and Respiratory Services.

Procedures performed include Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP/Spyglass, EUS, POEM, Enteroscopy, ESD, EMR, EBUS and Radial EBUS.


About The Role


We are seeking experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager's (ANM) to work closely with and assist the Nurse Manager in leading the Unit.

This is an excellent clinical leadership opportunity in your clinical career to lead by example, mentor a team and utilise your proven organisational, clinical and communication skills.

As a key member of the Nursing leadership team, we welcome your input, and value your ideas and fresh eyes to help us be our best.


As a valuable member of a multi-disciplinary team, we are committed to working with you to become your professional best, with a wealth of resources to support you in this position.

We offer clinical education sessions facilitated by a speciality educator and you will be supported by an experienced Nurse Manager who will help you take your leadership aspirations further should you wish to do so.

We currently have 2 Full Time Ongoing ANM opportunities available on a Monday - Friday rotating roster. No Nights No weekends

  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills and experience liaising and engaging with both medical and nursing colleagues
  • Enthusiastic, compassionate and able to work collaboratively

What you need:


  • Experience working in Endoscopy suites, theatre or critical care environment _essential_
  • Demonstrated Leadership experience _essential_
  • Demonstrated experience in managing portfolios associated with National Standards _highly desirable_
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a perioperative or critical care setting _highly desirable_
  • Hold a current Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Australian working rights
  • Proof of current immunisation requirements including COVID 19 vaccination.
  • Experience working in a fast paced acute environment and flexibility to adapt to changes throughout the day
  • Critical thinking, analytical & problem solving skills
