Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5 Reportable Incidents Officer.
***This position is located in their busy ACT
***office for an initial

6-month contract.

About the Position

A need has been identified for a temporary workforce to manage the intake, triage and assessment of reportable incidents held by the RI - intake, triage and early resolution team.

The workforce will provide assistance in all aspects of our team work including, triage, assessment, preparation of handover, provider profiling and finalisation of matters.


Duties

  • Assessing and monitoring reportable incidents and other regulatory intelligence.
  • Managing a caseload of reportable incidents and escalating incidents for
investigation where necessary.

  • Identifying and providing advice on trends and issues
  • Providing education and training to providers in relation to identifying incidents, preventing and effectively responding to abuse and neglect of people with disability
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a large and diverse range of external stakeholders
  • Preparing documentation, including reports, briefings and submissions.

Requirements/Skills

  • Must be an Australian Citizen (ability to obtain clearance)
