Federal Government Agency to engage an APS5 Reportable Incidents Officer.
***This position is located in their busy ACT
***office for an initial

6-month contract.

About the Position

A need has been identified for a temporary workforce to manage the intake, triage and assessment of reportable incidents held by the RI - intake, triage and early resolution team.

The workforce will provide assistance in all aspects of our team work including, triage, assessment, preparation of handover, provider profiling and finalisation of matters.

Duties

Assessing and monitoring reportable incidents and other regulatory intelligence.
Managing a caseload of reportable incidents and escalating incidents for

investigation where necessary.

Identifying and providing advice on trends and issues
Providing education and training to providers in relation to identifying incidents, preventing and effectively responding to abuse and neglect of people with disability
Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a large and diverse range of external stakeholders
Preparing documentation, including reports, briefings and submissions.

Requirements/Skills

Must be an Australian Citizen (ability to obtain clearance)
