Project Administrator:

Our Water team takes a holistic and sustainable approach to managing the use of water resources.

We support governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations by mitigating risks, meeting regulatory requirements, reducing the cost of water use and disposal, as well as creating strategies for a sustainable future.


Due to growth within our NSW Water team, we are currently looking to engage a Project Administrator to join our Newcastle team.

You will be working with a key Newcastle client with broader opportunities across the country.


We are delivering a long-term program with this client and have identified the need for a Project Administrator to provide support across multiple programs.


What you'll do:


The Administrator is primarily responsible for:

  • Supporting weekly and monthly reporting processes and engaging with external stakeholders to update key project data
  • Maintaining a variety of office registers
  • Process online document control systems requests and initiate team workflows
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet key performance indicators
  • Attention to detail, excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members to ensure the project is completed on time
  • Motivated to achieve targets and foster a good team environment
  • Schedule meetings and take minutes
  • Order office supplies and PPE as needed
  • Prepare requested documents for team members
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • General project support where required

About you:


  • Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent; ideal
  • Previous experience in customer centric administrative duties
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills building positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to use contemporary Information Technology hardware and software, Microsoft Home suite (particularly Word and Excel)
Desirable

  • Relevant admin experience working on construction or engineering projects
  • Demonstrated collaborative style
  • Skilled at managing requirements of multiple stakeholders
  • Project Administrator experience advantageous
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks across several projects
  • Basic knowledge of project and corporate office expectations
