Pre-Owned (Used) Vehicle Manager

Traralgon Automotive Group (TAG) has an opportunity for a
Pre-Owned (Used) Vehicle Manager to lead
our Pre-Owned sales team.


Gippsland's Largest Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan and SsangYong Dealership, retailing over 160 vehicles
a month, we are a regional dealer with metro volume. Only an hour and a half from Melbourne, this job is a real
opportunity for someone who wants a senior management position in a large Dealer group.

Prior Automotive Sales and Management experience is essential, and a proven record in used cars will be highly
regarded.

Responsibilities:


  • Planning, directing, monitoring, and controlling all activities in the Used Vehicle Sales Department.
  • Achieving Sales and Gross Profit objectives for the Department and assisting each Sales Consultant to achieve
their individual objectives.

  • Maintaining and managing a sales system.
  • Monitoring inventory and working closely with the General Sales Manager to purchase, value and manage stock.
  • Displaying preowned vehicle stock to its best advantage and ensuring the security of vehicles after hours.
  • Establishing and maintaining a dynamic and welcoming Customer relations environment that is dedicated to
absolute Customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

  • Be high energy.
  • Be easy to do business with.
  • Demonstrated outstanding leadership and team management experience in a comparable Dealership.
  • Lead by example by being thorough and hardworking.
  • A sound understanding of Sales processes and the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and Customer service skills.
  • Sound computer skills with Outlook, Word, and Excel experience.
  • Sound understanding of Carsales vehicle presentation and pricing dynamics.
  • Professional presentation.
  • Open, manual Driver's Licence is essential.
