The Position

St John of God Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding areas. We provide 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services, and after hour GP services. Our 131-bed healthcare facility is operated by St John of God Health Care, and provides public patient services under a public-private partnership with the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.


SJOG Hawkesbury is currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified
Allied Health Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.


As the Manager for Allied Health you will be responsible for the operational delivery and strategic direction of allied health services for the Hospital/Service.

You will have both leadership/management responsibilities and may carry a clinical caseload.

In addition to this you will monitor all clinical governance activities for Allied Health services and ensure that all staff are competent to provide specialist health services to patients.

We are offering this position on a
permanent full time basis, working
38 hours per week.

  • Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline and registration or membership with the relevant Board or Association as required.
  • Significant contemporary experience in a senior Allied Health clinical position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to provide leadership in a complex, professional work environment and influence the achievement of required outcomes in areas of professional responsibility.
  • Ability to facilitate and manage change at a strategic level.
  • Proven ability to implement new initiatives, actively market and promote the allied health services provided by the Division.
