We are looking for a talented Sales Support Officer, based in their Brisbane Office, Ideally from the shipping line.Key Responsibilities:
- 50% bringing new business in / 50% accounts management
- Support the client relationship locally and the research provision of each customer's account
- Identify opportunities to build and develop customer or business relationships
- Design and deliver proposals to customer
- Cold and warm calling
- Support the BD manager with administration, quoting and rate filling activities, and report generation
- Work in coordination with the Customer Service team to control the exchange, release documents, receive funds and log and file appropriately
- Deliver a positive customer service experience to all stakeholders
- Assist in the resolution and troubleshooting of outstanding accounts
- Generate account documentation
Requirements:
- At least 1 years' experience in the shipping or cargo industry
- Previous experience with import/export shipping and market and customs processes
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work towards a deadline
- High level of computer literacy
- Nice if they have Cold/Warm calling experience
