About the Role


Join our team and make a difference in your local community by playing a crucial role in catering to the unique requirements of individuals utilising our Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) services within
Toowoomba & surrounding local suburbs.

Your mission is to employ a person-centred approach, helping clients to attain their goals and fulfill their support needs.

This Casual position offers flexible working hours tailored to your lifestyle, including options during school hours if needed.

All working hours are between the hours of 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday with the opportunity to develop into a Part Time position.


Key Responsibilities
Assist clients to improve their independence according to their identified needs and goals inclusive of:

In home supports:

  • Domestic assistance such as light cleaning and housework
  • Personal care
  • Assistance with meal preparation
  • Skill development

Community Connections supports:

  • Social support
  • Shopping assistance
  • Social linking
  • Assist clients to improve their independence in according to their identified needs and goals
  • Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their family

Skills & Experience

  • An unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence, and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar) is required
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problemsolving abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
