Our client is a highly regarded aged care service operating in regional New South Wales.

They offer more than a career opportunity, they offer the chance to make a meaningful contribution to people's lives and the opportunity to build up this healthcare service from the beginning.

The facility has only just opened, therefore there are no pre-existing cultural issues and you will be able to build the team up with your own unique management style.

They aim to support patients in the aged space, with a resident-centered approach to their work.

This healthcare service is focused on encouraging the goals of their nurses and carers and is host to 55 beds.


Details about the job

This role is a brand new opportunity at a brand new facility, your chance to start fresh with a highly regarded and national aged care organisation.


Reporting to the regional team, you will work closely with a passionate and multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including nurses, carers and allied health staff.

You will be overseeing the facility in a managerial capacity, whilst liaising with residents, staff and families alike for the overall common goal of supporting residents and implementing proactive nursing services.

You will be responsible for driving financial performance and a positive consumer experience.

  • Previous demonstrated managerial experience within the aged care sector
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Sound and contemporary clinical and operational knowledge
  • Evidence of COVID 19vaccination (or valid exemption)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 12 months)
  • Highly developed leadership and outcomefocused approach to problem solving
