Payroll Officer - Perth, Australia - Collar Group
Description
6 months contract with possibility of extension or Permanency- Free parking on site as well as walking distance from public transport
- Requires Payroll experience with immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records, process new employee onboarding, and calculate and prepare terminations.
- Reconciliations for Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Sick Leave and managing manual pay adjustments.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping.
- Generate/reprint payslips as needed and notify of overpayments.
- Achieve a clear understanding of the Crown Enterprise Agreement, Crown HR Policies, and Crown's Vision and Values Statement.
- Highest level of detail required to ensure all data that are entered into the internal systems is uptodate and accurate.
- Liaison with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries as well as liaison with external stakeholders for all related queries.
- Provide crosstraining and leave relief.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, Microsoft Office suite, and HRIS.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
