The position:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be an autonomous, engaged and a hands-on all-rounder, knowledgeable of warehousing and distribution, driving efficiency in the warehouse with the potential of being rewarded with significant opportunities for professional growth and development.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including dispatching, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and best practices to create a safe working environment.
Lead a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Optimize warehouse layout to enhance efficiency and maximize space utilization.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels and resolve any supply chain issues.
Continuously monitor and evaluate operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and costsaving measures.
Prepare regular reports on key warehouse metrics such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and ontime delivery.

What you will bring to the team:

High school diploma or equivalent
Training/courses: COR (Chain of Responsibility) would be advantageous
Forklift essential
First Aid advantageous, however, training available
Experience working within a warehousing and distribution facility, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices
Strong knowledge of Road Freight (local, Sydney + suburbs + Sydney North ( as far as Coffs Harbour)
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in using SAP (or similar), MS Outlook, MS Excel.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
Problemsolving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and inventory management.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
