Supervisor

- 4 Day work week Monday to Thursday 5am 3pm + overtime
Based in Carrum Downs, this successful business specialises in providing a diverse range of timber crates, pallets, and cartons to a variety of organisations.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be involved in a hands-on role to train, mentor, lead and provide feedback to your team to ensure they are operating safely and meeting production requirements.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead, train, mentor and direct (9) staff in the manufacturing team
- Process orientated with manufacturing and production requirements
- Implement and streamline processes and procedures
- Communicate with internal members daily to achieve required outcomes
- Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and move finished products
- Assisting with docking or assembly when required
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience as a Leading Hand, Team Leader or Supervisor is ideal
- Strong hand and power tool knowledge and experience
- Exposure within a manufacturing or warehouse operation
- Attention to detail, strong process systems and focused on achieving outcomes
- A cando positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to lead by example
- Forklift licence and experience unloading and loading trucks
