Our client, an industry leading, boutique Owners Corporation Agency is looking to expand their Melbourne based offices (as they have had recent growth in their portfolio) with a new Owners Corporation Manager.

Our client embodies work life balance and works toward flexible working arrangements with their employees being offered three days WFH.

Our client has offices based in inner Melbourne, Eastern Suburbs & Bayside.

In addition to career growth opportunities, you will be guided and mentored by Team Leaders and Senior Management as well as day-to-day support via an Assistant, Accounts, and further administrative teams


Your key role requirements include:


  • Managing a mixed portfolio
  • Ability to Chair and facilitate meetings, negotiate, mediate, communicate, manage various personalities, and provide accurate advice
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to problem solve and multitask within a team
  • Understanding of buildings, plans of subdivisions, defects, dealing with relevant legislation
  • Arrange quotations and repairs and maintenance for works required
  • Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings
  • Prepare budgets for presentations to AGMs
  • Periodic inspections
  • Working within a team environment with administrative, accounts and legal support

To be considered for the role you will need:

  • Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within Owners Corporation with a proven ability to Chair OCM's/AGM's and manage a portfolio
  • Experience managing building defects and more complicated issues
  • A sound knowledge of the Owners Corporation Act
  • A great client facing attitude
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Up to date computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc) & CRM exposure
  • Good work ethic with a positive and motivated attitude
