Payroll Officer - Services - Lower North Shore

Company Background

Our client is a successful business focusing on providing solutions to a number of different industries from government to the infrastructure sector.

They are located near Chastwood and have parking on-site.

Our client is looking for someone to join on a part-time basis. This could mean 3 full days or 5 short days (approximately 24 hours/week).

The Role
Your duties as the Payroll Officer will include (but are not limited to):

End-to-end payroll duties for approximately 200 staff (split between weekly & monthly)
Award and EBA interpretation
Redundancies, sick leave, annual leave, and long service leave calculations
Payroll Tax, Super, Workers Comp and STP
Assisting with new starter setup/employment contract administration
Answering any payrollrelated enquiries

Your Background
To be considered for this Payroll Officer role, you will possess most of the following:

Experience performing end-to-end payroll for over 50 staff
Excellent attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills
Full Australian working rights
Good communication skills as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders
