Care Manager to join their team in South Sydney.

Job Role and Summary
This role combines Leadership Skills, Management Experience, and Aged Care Knowledge into one. You'll work alongside the Facility Manager to continuously improve the Clinical Outcomes of the residents.


You'll be a great communicator who can cooperate with a diverse range of clinical professionals, have strong clinical abilities so you can coordinate the best treatment plans, and be eager to continuously improve your skills so you can lead to the best of your abilities.


Responsibilities

  • Provide all residents with the highest standard of care consistent with the quality of life and level of activity that they are capable of
  • Support and develop the team in a way that ensures that the highest quality of care is provided to the residents
  • Assist in ensuring that quality and compliance is maintained including monitoring and reporting quality indicators, SIRs, and other relevant resident indicators
  • Supervise the staff in daily resident care, correct procedures for attending residents and to escalate any nonconformity
  • Working closely with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to ensure consistent compliance with all Aged Care standards and Quality Care policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate your inspirational leadership skills and help to maintain a positive and engaging culture

Required Skills & Experience

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse with current registration status
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the same or similar role
  • Detailed knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards, relevant legislation and continuous quality improvement
  • Advanced clinical experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain collaborative relationships
  • Ability to foster a safe workplace and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to develop sustainable practices
  • Good computer skills and experience with LeeCare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Rights to work in Australia

  • Bachelor Degree (preferred)

Experience:

Registered Nurse: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • AHPRA registration (preferred)
