Are you passionate about bringing creative concepts to life? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Production Supervisor to join a dynamic team within a leading creative events company.


As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by working closely with internal sales, creative, and project teams.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with these teams to understand client briefs and provide input into estimating and quoting processes.

By leveraging your expertise, you will ensure accurate cost estimation and timely project delivery.


The Job:


  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client briefs and provide input into estimating and quoting processes.
  • Oversee the production schedule for projects, ensuring high standards of quality and adherence to time and cost budgets.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate deliveries to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify potential challenges and ensure a seamless production process.
  • Work with inhouse and outsourced production teams to translate the technical requirements and ensure high quality and safe manufacturing.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production department, streamlining processes and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to displays, events, exhibitions, staging, and similar areas.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among crossfunctional teams.

Skills & Experience Required:


  • Previous work experience in a bespoke production environment, ideally within displays, events, exhibitions, staging, or similar.
  • Enjoyment in bringing creative concepts to life, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • A background in building trades or mechanical engineering would be beneficial.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification would be valued, however practical experience is the most important requirement.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodology and experience in lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in IT skills and familiarity with project management software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • A proactive and problemsolving mindset, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
