We are looking for an administration superstar to join our team in a full-time capacity, as a Medical Secretary who will be based between our busy Yokine and Midland clinics.
In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to clients and staff while remaining professional, caring and friendly in an everchanging environment.
What you'll do:
- Work efficiently in a fastpaced administrative role where patient care is our focus
- Act as the first point of contact to patients, greeting them on arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork
- Adapt to and manage an environment where there is ongoing change and competing priorities
- Manage a large volume of telephone enquiries
- Billing and receipting of patient accounts
- Document scanning and reconciling daily banking.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a specialist's schedule, bookings and clinics and providing a PA service to the specialists
- Previous experience with a strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)
- Previous experience in computerized billing and receipting
- An ability to work effectively both independently, in a team and within wider systems
- An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal/external demands
- Must hold a current Australian driver's license.
