Position Status:
Casual/Relief Teaching


The Faculty of Education and Foundation Studies is dedicated to providing an innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry ties.

Currently, the Social Inclusion department is on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to our mission

  • Deliver engaging theoretical and practical sessions across various course areas within the Social Inclusion department.
  • Provide relief teaching for programs such as the Victorian Pathway Certificate, Certificate I in Transition Education, Certificate I in Work Education, and Certificate II in Work Education.
  • Focus on empowering diverse learners by building confidence, fostering independence, and developing work readiness skills.

ABOUT YOU

  • Dedication to studentcentred education and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching and learning to accommodate students with diverse support needs in a specialist education environment.
  • Relevant industry qualification and experience, including higher study in specialist/inclusive education, registration as a teacher with the VIT, or qualifications and experience in disability and/or social work at a minimum AQF7 level.
  • Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) with units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502, or equivalent units.
