Critical to this role will be implementing procurement solutions that support the Divisions objectives, eliminate contractual underperformance, provide the adoption of contemporary best practice contractual performance mechanisms, ensure that processes meet legislative, regulatory, statutory and policy obligations, expenditure managed and monitored and is within agreed budget parameters and that milestones are adhered to and deliverables are to a quality standard.

This role will suit an experienced sourcing professional who has extensive end-to-end IT sourcing experience and commercial management obtained in a complex government setting.

The Department of Education and Training (DET) leads on Victorian Child Information and Early Childhood Systems reforms and will continue to refine and implement Child Link and the Kindergarten Information Management System (KIMS) and will lead on the delivery of technology to support measuring attendance at kindergarten.

Responding to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses into Child Sexual Abuse, Child Information Sharing (CIS) reforms promote the optimisation of children's engagement in government-funded services, and a shared commitment to child well-being and safety across services and communities.

The Victorian Child Information Sharing and Early Childhood Systems Division are made up of a number of branches and teams, which work collaboratively together to achieve the Whole of Victorian Government and Divisional goals.
