About your new role:

Treasury Brisbane is currently seeking an
Electrical Technician to join our Property Operations team.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational functions of all electrical operations during your shift and provide assistance to the Shift Engineer.


Supporting the Property Operations Leadership team, you will also assist with trouble shooting property problems, rectifying issues where possible, engaging approved contractors where authorized and appropriately escalating matters when required.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Complete field inspections as appropriate of all property, plant and equipment
  • Identify and report service requirements as early as possible to maintain quality standards
  • Follow up to ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed on all equipment
  • Maintain an accurate and efficient log of all important activities including details of any works/issues outstanding
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in good running condition at all times and properly stored
  • Maintain a sufficient supply of all parts to ensure constant availability at all times.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Previous experience in a logistic support role with engineering or maintenance
  • Sound reporting skills computer based and logbooks
  • Ability to competently use appropriate hand and power tools
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in fault diagnostic
  • Capability to identify hazards and risks and provide appropriate control measures
  • Knowledge of various types of machinery and equipment
  • Experience with BMS or similar control systems and an understanding of commercial HVAC systems
  • Experience with UPS systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a customer focused attitude.
