About the role:
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to members of Division 1, North West Metro Region.
Your duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Divisional Superintendent, Divisional Leadership Group and Staff Officer within a busy Police complex.
- Perform a variety of computerised activities including data entry, typing and word processing.
- Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to followup procedures as required with a high attention to detail.
- Attend to telephone enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative services in a confidential environment.
- Experience in working with computers and systems to perform a arrange of administrative tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise work with mínimal supervision.
- A strong commitment and a demonstrated record in meeting customer needs.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) full time ongoing position available.
- Your usual place of work will be at Victoria Police Centre, Docklands at Level 2, Tower 2/311 Spencer Street, Melbourne. While this position will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
