We are seeking a professional and motivated individual to join the newly formed ICT Strategy Implementation Office (ICTSIO) as the Strategy Realisation & Monitoring Lead.
You will be responsible for developing the strategy realisation framework, shaping and supporting the reporting that is vital to the steering the execution and risk management of the strategy realisation.
The Strategy realisation and monitoring activities you will be responsible for include: the design, implementation and maintenance of the governance and risk management framework related to strategy implementation, and play an active role in identifying, managing and escalating risks to the appropriate governance forum for resolution.
About Our Team
The ICT SIO is a newly formed function within ICT Strategy Realisation Branch and Chief Technology Officer Division that provides guidance and oversight of the Defence ICT Strategy.
This office is responsible for ICT strategy implementation management, performance reporting and ensuring that ICT initiatives within Chief Information Officer Group are executed and implemented in alignment with the ICT Strategy.
The team has a direct relationship with the whole of Defence including wider Chief Information Officer Group, other Defence Groups and Services and Defence Industry Partners to adopt a One Defence approach to achieving the goals of the ICT Strategy.
To succeed in this role you will:
- Be highly organised, independent and capable of managing competing priorities to ensure effective contribution to ICT SIO outcomes and deadlines
- Have experience coordinating executive briefings on performance measures, risks and strategy implementation progress
- Have significant stakeholder management experience
- Have significant experience in the Identification, tracking and monitoring of risks.
