About the Company

Our large NSW State Government client covers comprehensive corporate governance frameworks and policy, regulating health facilities and the supply and administration of therapeutic goods.


About the Role

They are currently seeking a Social Marketing & Campaigns Officer to join their team on this newly created campaign initiative.

The team are based in St Leonards, however, this role provides flexibility to work entirely from home unless required in the office.

This is an estimated 4-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.


Working within the Screening & Prevention Division, you will be required to work closely with the Tobacco & Vaping Control Portfolio Manager to raise community awareness around the harsh impacts tobacco and vaping has on an individual's health.

You will support the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of marketing and campaign projects, that engage, education in focus populations and broader communities.


Responsibilities

  • End to end project coordination from concept phase to completion, including scoping, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Work collaboratively with the Portfolio Manager and stakeholders to implement mass media marketing and campaign strategies
  • Develop and implement marketing and advertising campaign strategies for the Tobacco and Vaping Control Project
  • Create and deliver high quality, evidencebased marketing campaigns to raise awareness to targeted audiences
  • Develop and maintain all campaign and project documentation including marketing plans, advertising submissions, briefs and project scopes
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating partnerships, collaboration, cohesion and contribution of idea's.
  • Manage external agencies to ensure contract deliverables are met
  • Partner with other Government agencies to ensure the NSW Government Advertising requirements are met
  • Manage concurrent projects across multiple portfolio's whilst managing stakeholder expectations
  • Drive and manage high quality, consistent statewide program marketing content and campaigns across a variety of platforms including advertising, digital, websites, social media and printed material
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About you

  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Solid analytical, negotiation and problemsolving skills
  • Self sufficient and driven, with the ability to work independently

Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing Health Promotion or an equivalent field
  • Demonstrated marketing experience
  • Proven advertising campaigns experience across multiple channels including Digital, Television, Radio, Cinematic, Search, Native and Influencer
  • Health or Public Sector experience, desirable
  • Reliable remote internet access with the ability to work independently from home
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
