Fashion Retail Commercial Finance expert required

  • Senior Commercial Manager leading a team of eight reporting to the CFO
- $250,000 package (incl. super) | Frenchs Forest Location


About the role
The Commercial Manager will play a key leadership role in delivering top-tier initiatives identified by the Executive team.

Reporting to the well-regarded CFO with dotted line to the Divisional CEO, you will be the key business partner to c-suite leaders in delivering strategies, driving efficiencies, and creating change.


Duties

  • Manage a team of eight staff as a senior leader reporting directly to the CEO/CFO
  • Drive change in company process to create efficiencies and value add
  • Drive cost saving strategies that can be employed, including stock management
  • Drive data insights though analysis to provide recommendations for decisionmaking
  • Contribute to the preparation and consolidation of longterm strategic outlook models
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive sales initiatives and gotomarket strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate KPIs to track progress and make datadriven recommendations for improvement
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business strategies
  • Drive process improvement by automation of manual tasks and identify opportunities

Skills and Experience

  • CA / CPA Qualified
  • 8+ years finance experience
  • Passion for commercial finance & driving growth
  • Fashion Retail Background preferred
  • Proven experience business partnering & leading a team
  • Excellent communication to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Selfmotivated to drive function improvement
