This role provides outstanding opportunities for capable, self-motivated professionals interested in making a contribution to animal health and welfare, and the integrity of the Greyhound Racing Industry.

As a Steward you will be responsible for:

Conducting inquiries into alleged breaches of the Greyhound Racing Rules
Coordinating ontrack activities
Kennel procedures and inspections
Reporting and issues resolution
Sampling of greyhounds for prohibited substance detection

To be successful you will have:

A genuine interest in greyhound racing
Welldeveloped communication and facilitation skills, with the demonstrated ability to deal tactfully and effectively with people at all levels
Demonstrated ability to work independently, organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines
Good problem solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends and public holidays under shift provisions.
This role will be based in the Hunter region with possible travel other parts of NSW.
