  • ProReman is a long established and growing business. The company is a part of the Parts & Services division of Epiroc, a leading productivity partner for the mining, infrastructure, and natural resources industries.
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager this role offers a diversity of activities including all functions to support our customers. From taking sales enquiries, acquire sales prospects, preparing quotations (service reports and proposals) and converting to orders as well as processing to jobs.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with customers
  • Maintain regular contact with current and potential customers to determine current and future needs
  • Ensure sales are attended to with customer first mindset and completed accurately
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained of sales items
  • Record customer and sales information in line with company requirements
  • Complete the customer service reports and communicate with the customer
  • Know the industry and what is happening by regular reading of industry press
  • Maintain confidentiality over sales and customer information (within company requirements)
  • Obtain and report on customer feedback with the aim to continuously improve the customer experience
  • Participate and contribute collaboratively to internal and external meetings
  • Essential Position Requirements:
  • To be considered for this role you will possess these key skills and experience:
  • Mining and hydraulic hands-on experience/mechanical aptitude is preferable
  • Interest or experience in industrial sales
  • Knowledge of hydraulic components particularly in the mining/industrial sector
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Listening to and understanding customer requirements
  • Prepare and present quotations and value propositions
  • Analyse customer trends and data
  • Competent computer skills using Microsoft office and support systems (training available)
  • Conduct solutions driven research on technical data and products
