This role has not only involved the precise timing of many different sports and disciplines, but also the consistent development and evolution of the vital equipment that today's athletes rely on.
The Role
A technical entry test will be required during selection process.
Training and upskilling will be provided over time to support our Watch Technicians gain the necessary skills and knowledge to become experts in the field to ensure precision and accuracy in watch mechanics.
Responsibilities
Movement Exchange Services
- Assemble timepieces, ensuring water resistance according to model specifications, checking and regulating the timing of mechanical movements to ensure accurate rate, amplitude, beat error, and power reserve
- Uncasing, Case Up, and washing
- Removal of movement and casing components from case and cleaning of case and bracelet
- Bracelet / strap intervention or exchange
- Quick battery and pressure test
- Regulation of mechanical movement
- Complete disassembly and ultrasonic clean of case
Skills and Experience
- Satisfactory results of a watchmaking apprenticeship course or minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Ability to perform complete movement exchange of Quartz and Mechanical watches preferred but not essential
- Experience in case preparation, disassembly and quality control preferred
- Proficient in basic computer knowledge, SAP / similar ERP system, Microsoft Office
- Problemsolving skills
- Excellent attentiontodetail
- Interpersonal skills; team player
- Excellent organisation, time, and priority management skills
- Ability to competently undertake multiple tasks
