Conference Centre Coordinator

We are thrilled to be organizing in-person events again. Are you as excited as we are? We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented person to be part of our team at the Sydney Conference Centre.


ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be part of an energetic team based in our Sydney CBD office. Our conference venue can accommodate up to 150 guests.

This role is dynamic and involves supporting day-to-day operations at the conference centre, from confirming bookings, conducting site inspections, to managing on-site functions for internal and external clients, ensuring exceptional service every time.

Every day presents new challenges.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Operational support for the Conference Centre such as function coordination, stock management, AV support
  • Handling customer inquiries and overseeing bookings
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the conference venue
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Processing orders and invoices

ABOUT YOU
You should be highly organized, a great multitasker, and dedicated to providing outstanding client service.

Your focus on detail and problem-solving capabilities will help optimize the use of our high-quality Conference Centre.


Additional requirements:
  • Prior experience in front-of-house/hospitality roles
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and booking systems
  • Ability to establish relationships and deliver exceptional service
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and problem-solving skills
  • Hold a valid RSA (preferred)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
