Stallion Rampant Heralds La Donna Ferrari

Stallion Rampant Heralds La Donna Ferrari

069fe65d.jpg

Lockdown has relaxed to a lazy let-out, as we're permitted to permeate once again into our respective shopping malls of choice. Social distancing is still being effected by the majority of the masses, as we skirt around each other in the commercial corridors of COVID-initiated cut-price commerce, full again of treats to tempt the wary shopper back. Shops, stores and super-chains all tout for our custom as we are enticed back into the 'touchy-feely' simplicity of store shopping with its main drawcard, customer service, freshly reborn from its former apathetic slumber. Our eyes are subjected to a feast of visual delights, unrivalled by the small screen remoteness of our former e-commerce on-line deliberations and dilly-dallyings, frustratingly founded and formulated by the unreliability of our mail and courier deliveries, as they were subjected to unprecedented numbers of calls to arms.

Amidst the tentative hustle and bustle, or rather the unsteady fidgety flow, of former inmates, we rush to confirm whether or not our favourite vendors are open for business, or are still under shuttered deliberation. And, every so often, we stumble across massive bargain reductions, as the occasional store re-opens merely to dissipate its contents as a massive closing down sale. Problems for some are opportunities for others.

I negotiate my path through increasing numbers of shoppers, in an endless series of imagined 1.5 m separations, until my eyes are suddenly drawn towards an acutely aesthetically appealing mirage of marvellous mechanical magnificence. As if her classical curvaceous body with her sexy sporty silhouette is not enough to herald her uniqueness and to display her breathtaking beauty, the tiny black stallion rampant (Cavallino Rampante), on its yellow badge of distinction, subtly declares her lineage and refinement, and confirms that here indeed is a lady of distinctive breeding, a signora of incomparable celebrity, the queen of motor sport, La Donna Ferrari.

ac4ac232.jpgI approach her nervously yet deliberately. I can't take my eyes off of her. Her hypnotic Rosso Corsa warm red glow beckons, "Take me, drive me, transport me to places of magical mystery", yet she is blind to my adoring gaze, her headlights permanently focused towards the unreachable beyond. I stand alongside her openly displayed interior and catch that unforgettable aroma of black leather. Her rich dark inner beauty starkly complements her outer crimson glow, like a magnificent marriage between dark chocolate and cherries.

The simplicity of her instrument panel, coupled with the compactness of her well-rounded rudder (somehow 'steering wheel' seems so inappropriate) seems to defy the power that waits temptingly to be released beneath the long flowing lines of her prominent yet sumptuously spectacular proboscis.

Then suddenly I become aware of a voice in my ear. I turn to see a young man smiling at me, doubtless fully aware of my state of total captivation. He has had to repeat himself in order to wake me from my trance-like state of awe. It appears that this vision of beauty is available, along with her stable mates, a papaya orange McLaren and a battleship grey Mercedes four wheel drive, are available for 'Super Car Rides' around the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit, an hour's drive south of where I stand, still under a spell of astonished stupor, and home to the annual Gold Coast Grand Prix.

Furthermore, should I wish to part with a somewhat extortionate amount of money (although the spellbound voice in my head counters my inner Scotsman with a plea of "reasonable at twice the price") this captivating and roadworthy beauty could be mine for a whole afternoon.

Sadly I am committed to a prior engagement, but, as I despondently bid farewell to the signora of my dreams and her courteous male escort, I am comforted in the possibility of some future engagement, where we may meet in more fitting circumstances and I may linger longer with the spellbinding La Donna Ferrari.

❤️❤️❤️

Oh no, Pak Paul, the poncy Porche is for posers, whereas the fabled Ferarri is for fanatics who fantasise about fulfillment. 😍

Sounds nice, Franci🐝Eugenia Hoffman, beBee Brand Ambassador, but the Impala still brings back memories of the Middle East and parties without alcohol at the Jedah house of Bill and Anne Levie. I drove my Chevy to the Levie’s, but the Levie’s was dry. 🤣😂🤣

I seem to remember, Franci🐝Eugenia Hoffman, beBee Brand Ambassador, you have an eye for classic cars, with that ‘60s post you did, some time ago, featuring a red Chevy Impala SS with white wall tyres. 😍

I can see you're neither a fan of epic cars nor experience. So glad you took time out of your busy day to visit.

I occasionally used to tag, Lada, but figured that folks will eventually either read my posts if they want to, or skip on by if the subject matter doesn't suit. If I'm tagged by an author whose posts don't interest me, I rarely read them. As for the sports car incentive. I used to drive a British racing green MG when I was in my twenties and based in London. MG had an ad running at the time, along the lines of "For the driver who loves the wind in his hair ... while he's still got some." How time goes ... along with my hair. 🤣😂🤣

First, I'm sharing this post. If the number is correct, the post got only 100 views so far. Seeing the current situation with publishing on beBee Producer I've lost my desire to finish my drafts. The only way to gain views and engagement with your post is tagging dozens of followers which some users do regularly. As for the post topic, I always taught that men buy Ferraris or similar sports luxury cars to attract women. :) Even scientific studies confirm that women rated men as more attractive when in the high-status car. But in your case, you fell in love with "the signora of your dreams". I think many men could understand that kind of love. :)

Just had another thought on your topic of food vs flashy cars, Ian Weinberg. As you may have guessed from my #3, I just love pasta and prefer it to be 'al dente'. Can't say the same for my Ferraris. 🤣😂🤣

I guess, Jerry, that deep down we all have a need ... “a need for speed”. 🤗

Ken, Ken put your tongue back in your head. I feel our pain. There is a dealer in my little town that stocks Ferraris, Maseratis and Lamborghinis They hosted the local Chamber of Commerce one morning. The lust you describe ran rampant through the group. The scramble to get picked for a ride in the Ferrari would have made Enzo proud. And so it goes.

Many thanks for the offer, Neil Smith, but the best chance of doubling your money in the lottery is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket. 😂🤣😂

Indeed, Ian, your pasta of choice, be it gnocchi, linguini, spaghetti, penne, macaroni, or a myriad of others, may satisfy the pangs of hunger in your belly, but not the pangs of unrequited love for the long sleek sexy and sophisticated La Donna Ferrari. .😍

Nice looking machine Ken but I think my budget is more Kia Rio than Ferrari. If I win the lottery I'll treat you to that afternoon though.

Since the closest I’ll get to experience a Ferrari is a good pasta. So I’ll just settle for the fasta pasta.
