Fabulous idea Kevin Baker...Interestingly, I had a recent experience of being 'blindsided' by someone rather 'out of control' of their energy and I had not properly grounded myself prior to our interaction. (my bad) It left me with a fierce ringing in my left ear...literally like my 'receiver' had been knocked off the hook...Fortunately, I am aware of how to bring my energy back into balance...In this case it did take about 24 hrs of magnetic resonance...But it could have been much longer and left me with a persist tinnitis. I feel for those unaware of the impact others may be having on them, not only energetically but physically as well...People can literally 'make you sick' That is why information like this wonderful podcast is such a gift to EVERYONE...as we are ALL effected by the energy of those around us. Some of us are just more sensitive to it than others;-) BTW...Have a great Thanksgiving;-)

That will not work for me as a 'manual therapist' ...The touch IS the gift...Learning to manage the output of energy in correlation to input necessary to reestablish homeostasis is a delicate balance...Therefore...in that sense you are correct Kevin Baker...Know when to say when;-)

This is such an important conversation to have as the holidays are fast approaching. I was the "holiday hibernator' for many years until I learned to dial down the impact of the drama by grounding myself in my own energy field (smudging with sage works beautifully) before AND after engaging in any 'group energy' The 'check-ins' are just important for everyday interactions as well, as you never know what each day may bring... 'zipping-up' your energetic field at night while we sleep is necessary as we are 'wide open' conduits, especially while we are sleeping. I visualize a sleeping bag and zip it up right over my head;-) Just as you take your computer off line at that end of the day for security reasons, so do you need to do that for yourself. These 'energy vampires' tend to be night crawlers;-) I have adopted the new mantra;-) -Ground the line...Connect protect...Thank you Melody and Christoph, for your service!
