Oh, Bee Quiet ..... Not!

These rhyming thoughts were prompted by my old mate Gert Scholtz

The author of the above, Ken Boddie, besides being a sometime poet and occasional writer, is an enthusiastic photographer, rarely leisure-travelling without his Canon, and loves to interact with other like-minded people with diverse interests.

Ken's three day work week (part time commitment) as a consulting engineer allows him to follow his photography interests, and to plan trips to an ever increasing list of countries and places of scenic beauty and cultural diversity.

All the words I have to say, Spin in my head, they're there to stay, Until perchance I find the time, To jot them down, and hope they rhyme. But sometimes life gets in the way, To work, to sleep, and sometime play, And so I skim the beBee posts, No time to read, I become a ghost. A rare occasion will present The time to read my beBee friend's Posts and buzzes, they mean a lot, Especially if they are from a Scot. Sorry for massacring the English language Ken Boddie... I really haven't had much time of late.

A quiet smile, a cheeky grin, That’s what we need to reel them in, But, should we reach the funny bone, The seeds of laughter will be sown, For, once we’ve grown the chuckle tree, With branches near and far, we’ll see, That laughter begets conversation, Our QBee’s hooked ..... participation.

Ken, I thought I am the first commenter, but Ian was faster. :) Excellent rhyming and a call for the awakening of QBees from their peaceful slumber. I still think they are cool. Reading is also considered a type of social media engagement and the first step to interaction. Also, a great photo of the future not quiet Bee. :))
