    Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM)The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS).

    The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS.

    The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre's (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades.

    The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services.

    The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability

    The Opportunity:
    The Lead PCA/FCA Auditor will be responsible for the configuration audits against the ACS CLCM contract.

    The Lead PCA/FCA Auditor will review and examine the integrity of metadata and conduct data queries relating to verification of updates to the functional and product baseline.

    Additional role requirements would see FCA and PCA as per the agreed schedule, along with ad-hoc CM audits to ensure alignment with configuration baseline.

    Functionally reporting to the CLCM Configuration and Data Lead, the Lead PCA/FCA Auditor would also develop and manage a professional development plan, identifying key goals and objectives which would be reported upwards quarterly to track progress against said plan

    Responsibilities:


    Under broad direction and in consultation with the Configuration and Data Manager, actively assist the Configuration Team and other stakeholders.

    Execute day to day activities in accordance with the Configuration Management & Audit Plan.

    Liaise closely with the Engineering Team, Ship Leads and Waterfront Engineers responsible for the ACS CLCM to ensure compliance to the Configuration Management & Audit Plan.

    Independently apply Configuration Management techniques in the context of Systems Engineering on Navy Maritime Assets, make decisions on Configuration change, and represent the team in Configuration Control Boards.

    Safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of those within the organisation.
    Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
    Deliver Configuration Status Accounting services.
    Respond to external audits and Corrective Action Reports.

    As the ideal candidate you will bring:

    Essential:
    At least 5 years' experience in an engineering role (preferably within the Defence industry).
    Experience in CMT-U, AMPS & Stock Control and Planned Maintenance (SCPM).
    Must be eligible for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems

    Desirable:
    Diploma, or equivalent, qualification in a recognised Engineering related discipline.
    Experience in the Department of Defence.
    All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
    Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
