    Our Role

    This role will be based at our Buchan Limestone quarry, an hour from Traralgon in East Gippsland, near the town of Bairnsdale. Responsible for safely delivering the mining plan and monitoring mining activities to ensure optimal business performance of mining assets. Key deliverables of the role include safe, sustainable mining and processing activities of lime and limestone products to meet quality and cost expectations whilst maintaining a healthy relationship within the community in which we operate.

    As the leader you will:

    · Ensure safe and effective operation of the mining operations, crushing and milling plant.

    · Influence the performance of mining and operations team members, contractors and visitors to deliver compliance with Safety and relevant company and regulating authority standards

    · Maximize mining production to build inventory and deliver required volumes while meeting quality and specification of dispatched products.

    · Manage and support budget preparation, monitor and control expenditure to ensure delivery of required activities within budgeted Operating Expenditure (OpEx).

    · Work with various internal and external stakeholders to meet or exceed legal and regulatory expectations whilst maintaining a healthy relationship within the community.

    The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in quarry/mining and or processing operations or other relevant experience. The role will require an experienced, results-oriented people leader with safety, operational, change management and financial experience in similar environments. Ability to concurrently focus on a range of short, medium and long-term priorities is required.
