    Senior Inspector (Construction)

    The Office of Industrial Relations is seeking a Senior Inspector (Construction) to join its Workplace Health and Safety Compliance and Field Services team, part of the Work Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ).

    As a Senior Inspector, you will be responsible for enforcing work health and safety laws, investigating workplace fatalities and serious injuries, prosecuting breaches of legislation, and educating employees and employers on their legal obligations.

    This role requires strong written and time management skills, as well as experience in applying workplace health and safety protocols in community enforcement or other regulatory enforcement environments.

    You will contribute to lowering workplace serious injuries and fatalities in Queensland by working with industry to improve health and safety in workplaces. You will also have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders, partner with them, and educate the community in safety matters, ensuring compliance within a regulatory framework.
