    We're looking for a Deputy Principal to lead their owncampus at The Y School in Mirrabooka, (Perth, WA).

    As a CARE (Curriculum & Re-Engagement) School, we are focussed onworking with students at their point of need, dedicating time,energy, and expertise to formulating strong Individual Education Plans.

    We develop rapport with students in order to assist them inbuilding towards further education or employment, through optionssuch as WACE pathways, School-Based Traineeships and universitybridging courses.

    Our main focus is to assist students to re-engagewith education, supporting them to dismantle the barriers andcreate a chance to flourish.

    As Deputy Principal you'll lead the implementation of the'Y School Strategy' on the current Mirrabooka Campus,providing a consistent approach for curriculum delivery forstudents in Years 10 – 12.

    The 'Y Education Model' will be your guide to maintaining a high quality ofservice delivery specifically focussing on supporting students whoare at risk of disengaging with education.

    You'll lead adynamic and innovative team of Teachers, Youth Workers, School Counsellors, and administrative support.

    At times you'll behands-on, providing academic and mental health/wellbeing supportfor students and lead your team in the development andimplementation of academic and support programs.

    But your missionwill remain the same; 'to see students appreciate educationand truly flourish in the future'.

    $125,850 to $137, % Super per annum

    You'll be great in this role ifyou...
    Have a Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
    Hold a Tertiary qualification in Education or Teaching thatis recognised in Western Australia
    Have Post Graduate qualification/s in Education Leadership/ Business Management (highly regarded but not essential)
    Have experience in successful strategic leadership in aneducational setting
    Seek to maintain a status of Highly Accomplished or Lead inthe AITSL standards and fully understand their application indaily practice
    Have knowledge regarding school funding models, budgetingand legislative requirements (CARE School knowledge isdesirable but not essential)
    Have knowledge and experience of Explicit Teachingtechniques
    Can obtain a current National Police Check and hold acurrent Working with Children Check
    Are seeking to work for a WA based NFP making a realdifference to student's lives by demonstrating realwraparound service provision with unwavering focus andcommitment to safeguarding our Young People
