    We're currently recruiting a full-time Lead HR/IR Advisor to join our Onshore Energy team in Darwin, supporting our existing maintenance team. This is a local Darwin, site based role, working Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours a week.

    Relocation assistance will be provided from anywhere in Australia.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Development and delivery of functional HR services that align with business needs.
    • Provide advice, support and coaching to the supervisory teams in the area of employee relations, performance development, HR policy interpretation, succession planning and organisational structure issues.
    • Develop and implement ER/IR management plans, initiatives, projects and/or new internal systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Assist operational management with people strategies such as opportunities to improve attendance, retention and the engagement of employees.
    • Work closely with Payroll, Recruitment, Mobilisation, Communication and Administration functions.
    • Manage industrial relations matters such as the adherence to right of entry procedures, union communications, and dispute management processes.
    • Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and IR/ER best practice and ability to apply this knowledge pragmatically in a complex and multifaceted business.
    • Reviewing and interpreting industrial instruments and providing general employee relations guidance.
    • Plan and lead key processes for the site that form part of the HR lifecycle such as employee onboarding and off boarding, remuneration and benefits reviews, performance management reviews, and talent management.
    • Champion site based diversity and inclusion programs.

    What you will bring:

    • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
    • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to forge strong cross-disciplinary working relationships.
    • Relevant practical experience in employee relations, industrial relations and/or human resources experience within the resource industry would be highly advantageous.
    • Demonstrated success in delivering generalist HR support and advice across a business or site level.
