    ROLE SUMMARY

    As a Senior Business Analyst with a strong capability in software, technology and user experience you will play a key role in working closely with Inspire X clients in identifying core business objectives, defining complex requirements, and developing innovative solutions to drive strategic outcomes.

    Working closely with a Senior UX Manager in our Brisbane office, this role has a core focus on working with a key client of Inspire X as part of a long-term initiative to drive discovery to understand holistic business challenges.

    Leading a strategic partnership you will be responsible for taking this organisation on a journey towards achieving an ambitious unification of software user experience across a global portfolio of products.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Engage with stakeholders across various departments to understand the diverse needs, expectations, and constraints related to the hardware products and their software user experience.

    Gathering comprehensive requirements will be key to creating a unified user experience that addresses the unique aspects of each hardware product.

    Identify and plan for the integration of the unified user experience across existing hardware products, considering technical, logistical, and operational aspects.

    Familiarity with UX principles and the ability to advocate for user-centric design decisions.
    Understanding of the manufacturing industry, especially related to hardware & technology products, to contextualize requirements and challenges.

    Understanding the power of user experience in software projects and the importance of effective software delivery as an enabler for hardware products.

    Ability to create process flows and models to visualize and analyze existing and proposed user experiences.

    Take the lead on the project, ensuring it stays on schedule, within budget, and aligns with business goals, including identification of potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

    Bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders by communicating complex information in a way that everyone can understand.

    Familiarity with the technical aspects of hardware product development and the ability to communicate effectively with development teams.
    Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, obtain feedback,explore solutions, and drive decision-making processes.
    Guide teams and stakeholders through change, especially in introducing a unified user experience across diverse products.
    Oversee the integration of user experiences, considering technical implications.
    Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
    RequirementsTertiary qualifications in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

    More than 5 yearsof experience as a Senior Business Analyst preferably in an Audio Visual or Hardware technology environment with a focus on software development projects.

    Strong experience in business process analysis, system analysis, and data analysis.
    Proficient in using business analysis tools, customer journey mapping, delivery methodologies, and techniques.
    Solid understanding of agile software development methodologies, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
    Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
    Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities supported by a proactive and solution-centric approach.
    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
    Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
