    Position Details
    The College requires a full-time Kitchen Assistant to commence in Term 2, 2024.


    The position requirements include:

    • General food prep and kitchen duties.
    • Can work autonomously and within a team.
    • Knowledgeable food handling and sanitation standards and WHS regulations.
    • Roster includes weekend work (10:30am to 6:30pm on Sat & Sun).
    The successful person will work alongside a small catering team providing meals for students during the school terms.

    Selection Criteria

    Ideally the successful applicant will be:

    • Caring, energetic and innovative.
    • Able to work with and communicate effectively with male and female teenagers and staff.
    • Able to work independently.
    Experience would be highly regarded but not essential.

    Qualifications Required


    Applicants will be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of a Catholic school in the tradition of Edmund Rice.

    The successful applicant will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Card and complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) which are mandatory requirements in WA schools.
