    Project Engineer - Decommissioning

    UGL are seeking interest from Project Engineers / Senior Project Engineers to join our Fuels & Energy line of business on an exciting new Offshore Decommissioning contract.

    This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a highly experienced team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customers. The Engineers will plan, schedule and prepare scopes of work associated with the decommissioning, cleaning, and removal of offshore assets within the Bass Strait. Our office location is in Melbourne CBD & we also have a regional office in Sale should this location work best for you

    About You

    You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create environments where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:

    • Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline or relevant project management / project engineering experience
    • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a Project Engineering position, within the O&G / Petro-Chemical / High Risk environment
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels internally and externally
    • Experience in managing multi-disciplined project teams across multiple projects simultaneously
    • Commitment to continuous improvement
    • Quality management systems knowledge and demonstrated understanding
    • Proven program management
    • Ability to contribute to a high-performing team
    • Strong decision making and negotiating skills
    • Experience to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
    • Passionate in having safety as your primary focus in delivering all aspects of the task
