    The Role

    Reporting into the Engineering Manager (Platforms), you will be a part of diverse and highly skilled Platform Engineers.

    You will be responsible for the operational delivery, maintenance and enhancement, end to end, of MLC Life Insurance's infrastructure environment, with an opportunity to be exposed to various cloud, networks and security platforms.

    You will play a hands-on role, responsible for all Windows, VMware on AWS & Native AWS systems, including day-to-day tasks such as patching and maintenance, as well as project work, such as our ongoing modernization in the cloud environment.

    From time to time, your role may also require providing out of hours on-call support and providing support to P1 and P2 incidents.

    About you

    An experienced Infrastructure Engineer, you possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a broad Windows and VMware on AWS operational role.

    As someone who is growing and developing in their career, you have an insatiable thirst for knowledge, coupled with the ability to pick up hands-on expertise in new technologies and technology concepts.

    Other technical requirements include:

    • Windows Server (2012 – 2022) Administration across systems such as AWS & VMC
    • Support PAM and access management provisioning across platforms.
    • Broad experience working with AD, DNS, DHCP, AWS AD
    • Support Ongoing BAU Tickets and support projects for migrating VMs from VMC to native AWS
    • Good hands-on experience with Group Policy Objects
    • Support Windows Monthly Patching & implement automations/improvements around it.
    • Hands on experience working with and managing VMware on AWS Cloud is highly recommended desirable.
    • Good Knowledge on resource provisioning on Virtual machines & EC2 instances including troubleshooting.
    • Good Knowledge of vCenter, HA, DRS, VM Storage Policies, Compute Policies
    • Deep Dive Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies such AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, RDS, WSUS, KMS, NTP etc.
    • Good Understanding of PKI and Certificate Authority Architecture
    • Working knowledge of VMware Carbon Black Solution
    • Good working knowledge EC2, S3, FSX
    • Some experience in automation tooling (e.g. PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible and Terraform)
    • Working knowledge on Linux & Backup (VEEAM) is desirable.
