    You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

  • Specialist training opportunities
  • Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers
  • Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.
  • We currently have casual opportunities working accross locations in Ryde and Northern Suburbs. This service operates 24x7. You will need to be available for 3-4 days (20 hours minimum) for coverage over a variety of morning, afternoon and overnight 'waking shifts'.

    We can consider local candidates to Ryde and Northern Suburbs.

    Your duties will include:

  • Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
  • Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Building positive relationships with our clients
  • Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable
  • Requirements

  • A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) is preferred
  • Live locally to the Ryde Are
  • Triple COVID-19 vaccinated
