    Description
    A Senior Associate position for a foreign bank looking for individuals with strong modelling capabilities

    What you'll do:
    As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the origination team.
    Your primary responsibility will be to assist in delivering optimal risk, revenue, and profit outcomes from each transaction.
    You will have the opportunity to work closely with Directors and VPs in marketing, securing and closing transactions.

    Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with credit policies, contributing to maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, managing deal information on internal systems, preparing research papers and submitting credit proposals.

    Assist in marketing, securing and closing complex corporate credit transactions
    Ensure all transactions comply with credit and other policies
    Contribute to the maintenance of positive relationships with sponsors/borrowers/advisors/legal counsels/funds/bank customers
    Liaise positively with local and international networks including global teams, structured credit, and Sydney Branch
    Manage deal information on various internal systems and associated internal deal processes
    Prepare or contribute to research papers including attending industry seminars and presentations

    Submission of credit proposals and analysisWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for the Senior Associate position brings a wealth of experience in complex corporate credit from a major domestic or international bank.

    She holds an undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce/Law from a leading university.
    She is proficient in Microsoft products and has strong financial modelling skills.
    She has a deep understanding of financial and economic markets and is capable of independent research and analysis.
    Her strong interpersonal and presentation skills make her an effective communicator.
    She possesses an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, enabling her to tackle complex challenges.
    Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate credit at a major domestic or international bank
    Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university
    Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, strong in financial modelling
    Understanding of financial and economic markets
    Ability to engage in independent research & analysis of customers and markets
    Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
    Analytical mindset and problem-solving skillsStrong Modelling skills are required.

    Salary:
    AUD100,000 - AUD150,000 per annum + Attractive Salary Package
