    : The Digital Solutions Division (DSD) within ACT Health is seeking to recruit a motivated and experienced Technical Services Administration Manager who can be part of a dynamic technical team.

    Under the broad direction of the Director of Technical Services Hub the successful candidate will also work with the broader technical team, internal stakeholders, Epic and third-party vendors to support the administration of procurement activities and approvals for successful delivery of projects within DSD.

    The Technical Services Hub is a diverse and inclusive team that provides a vital role in the delivery of public health services for the ACT. Tasked with the responsibility to provide hosting of workloads for clinical health systems, minimising downtime and responding to everchanging demands in a fast-paced environment. The hub delivers a broad range of technical outcomes, including database services, system administration, web server, Citrix, enterprise backup, cyber security and more.

    The Technical Services Administration Manager will be responsible for:

  • Administration of procurement tasks for software, hardware, and technical services.
  • Maintain vendor relationships with multiple 3rd party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Co-ordinate and manage required approvals through CIO office.
  • Provide organisational and administration support for a number of committees and boards and other bodies.
  • Managing other small technical ICT projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Providing technical support services to ACT Health project teams including assisting in the assessing and prioritisation of technical requests and undertaking technical project tasks.
  • Review and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Support system administrator functions.
  • Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operations of the Division
